OPEN FORUM – Opportunity for Parishioners to ask questions / raise issues. We encourage participation from Parishioners through the meeting if they so wish

  2. DECLARATIONS OF INTEREST

Declarations of Interest:

a)  Register of Interests: Councillors are reminded of the need to update their register of interests.

b)  To declare any Disclosable Pecuniary Interests in items on the agenda and their nature.

c)  To declare any Other Disclosable Interests in items on the agenda and their nature.

d) Written requests for the council to grant a dispensation (S33 of the Localism Act 2011) are to be with the clerk at least four clear days prior to a meeting.

Councillors who have declared a Disclosable Pecuniary Interest, or Other Disclosable Interest which falls within the terms of paragraph 12(4) (b) of the code of conduct, must leave the room for the relevant items.

  1. MILLENNIUM GREEN – to consider spending of NHB monies (£8,273) and s106 Monies (£6,801) – total of £15,074 on a climbing frame (£13,459 including installation costs) and 2 picnic tables with wheelchair access, made from re-cycled materials (£876 for the 2 plus installation costs of approx. £300 each) – total of £14,935. This will be subject to public consultation with parishioners
  2. DRAFT BUDGET – to consider the draft budget for 2021/22 circulated to Cllrs and the impact any loan repayments for the church wall repairs would have on the Defford & Besford Parish Council element of council tax payments
  3. CHURCH WALL – to consider the report on the condition of the church wall and quotes received. To further consider applying for a Public Works Loan Board loan to top up the £10,000 already held as a reserve for the repair. This will be subject to public consultation with parishioners
